Ronald Morton formed the Morton Law Firm in 1997. Morton Law Firm is a full-service law firm located in Clinton, Mississippi. The firm provides its clients with the highest quality representation in the areas of commercial transactions, business planning, general litigation, personal injury litigation, divorce and family law, asset protection panning, Medicaid planning, estate planning, and elder law. The firm's particular emphasis is on providing quality legal services in a cost-effective, efficient and results-oriented manner. We strive to produce the highest quality representation, bearing in mind at all times the economic, business, and personal concerns and objectives of our clients.
The Morton Law Firm provides quality, timely, and aggressive legal representation to its clients at a fair and predictable fee. Through its implementation and reliance on state of the art law office technology, the firm is able to provide efficient and timely service to its clients at accurately estimated costs. In fact, most matters are handled by the firm on a flat fee or percentage basis contingent upon results, giving the client certainty and predictability in their anticipated expense. The firm also frequently utilizes blended rates, value billing, and other progressive billing structures, rather than the traditional reliance on an hourly billing rate. Hourly billing encourages firms to be inefficient, and to delay completion of work, all to the clientís detriment. At the Morton Law Firm, we don't focus on hourly billing; our focus is on results. The firm represents both individual and corporate clients of all sizes in civil matters throughout Mississippi and Louisiana. The primary focus of the firm is personal injury and elder law.
All of our clients are important, but in our Estate Planning and Elder Law Practice, we recognize that we are dealing with the most important things in our clients lives - everything they own, and everyone they love. Accordingly we take our role as trusted advisor very seriously, and never offer cookie cutter solutions to what are always unique family situations. We are careful to listen to our clients, and only after a great deal of communication and counseling with our clients do we begin to suggest possible planning solutions. It is this counseling-based approach to estate planning and elder law that best distinguishes us from other firms in Mississippi. Additionally, we differentiate ourselves from the countless other law firms in the following ways:
Relationships - We form very close working relationships with our clients. By getting to know you well, we can better understand your needs, and the solutions that best serve you.
Quality We provide our clients with the highest caliber legal services while truly understanding their goals and desires. Quality not only describes our work, but also our staff. Morton Law Firm only hires top graduates in their respective fields. From receptionist, to law clerks, to attorneys, you can be assured that you are dealing with people of the highest integrity and intelligence leaders among their peers.
Focus We are a boutique firm and choose to limit our areas of practice to ensure proficiency, skill, and experience in those practice areas. Our Estate Planning, Elder Law, and Personal Injury are our only focus.
Service - We are committed to providing our clients with the highest level of service. To maximize client service, we leverage legal expertise with technology to achieve optimal results and provide our clients with accurate and timely generated documents. Our goal is to exceed your expectations.
